Ingredients
  

  • 11.7 oz Basmati Rice
  • 2 Onions
  • 1 Bell Pepper
  • 0.53 oz Mushrooms
  • 12.34 oz Tomatoes
  • 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Paprika Powder
  • 1 tsp Oregano
  • 1/4 cups Vegetable Broth
  • 2 Tbsp Sour Cream
  • 1/2 Salt
  • Black Pepper
  • 7.05 oz Feta
  • Majoran
  • 1 cup White Wine

Instructions
 

  • 1. Cook the rice with double the amount of water and 1 tsp. salt. Reduce heat to the lowest setting, place the lid on the pot and let the rice cook for about 20 minutes until the water is completely evaporated. And then remove it from the heat.
  • 2. Chop the onions, dice the tomatoes and cut the mushrooms and bell pepper into fine strips.
  • 3. Heat olive oil in a pan and fry the onion, peppers and mushrooms over medium heat until onions are translucent. Add tomatoes, paprika and oregano and fry for another 5 minutes.
  • 4. Add vegetable broth and sour cream to the pan and mix with the vegetables.
  • 5. Add cooked rice and mix the rice pan well. Season strongly with salt and pepper.
  • 6. Cut the feta into small cubes, garnish the rice pan with it and serve everything immediately.

Notes

Chefs's Tips
  1. Before you cook the rice, wash it to make sure it loses some of its starch, put rice in a pot or bowl of cold water, let it steep for about 15 minutes and then drain it. Doing this will make your rice fluffy and fine.
  2. If you like, you can add 1 tablespoon of butter or vegetable butter to the cooked rice.
