Traditional Tzatziki Sauce

bymeSARA
This delicious, fast & easy recipe is a traditional greek dish. Tzatziki can be eaten as an appetizer with pita bread, as a condiment, or as a side dish.
Tzatziki tastes better if made with thick yogurt. You can easily make thick yogurt by straining regular plain yogurt inside cheesecloth over a bowl. I usually use store bought Greek yogurt.

Chefs' Tips
This is best made ahead a couple of hours and letting it rest before serving.
Be sure to drain the cucumber after grating by wrapping and squeezing it in cheesecloth or paper towel. This removed excess moisture for the best dip/sauce results.
